Our products are not Kosher

Are WisPride products made with Pasteurized Milk?
A.
Almost all of our cold pack products are made from cheese that was fully pasteurized. Only our swiss cheese based products are made from cheese that was heat treated to 148°, but not pasteurized. We age all of those cheeses for at least 60 days and then blend them with other ingredients to create our spreadable cheeses without the aid of heat.

Do WisPride products need to be refrigerated?

The spreadable cheese items should be kept refrigerated upon purchasing and should go back in the refrigerator after each use.

Can I freeze WisPride Cheese products?
A.
The spreadable cheese items can be frozen up to six months. However, freezing can make the texture slightly crumbly after thawing. Also, be aware that the cups become more brittle when frozen, and can crack if bumped.

How long will the spreadable cheese stay fresh in my refrigerator after I have opened the container?
A.
Under normal conditions, Wispride spreadable cheese products will retain freshness for approximately 60 days after the product is opened. Apply lid tightly to the cup to prevent drying and possible mold growth on the surface of cheese.

Are the WisPride spreadable cheese products heat processed?
A.
Not now. Not ever. The natural flavors of the cheese come through our spreadable cheese because we utilize a unique “cold pack” method of converting naturally aged cheese to our spreadable form.
